Green tea increases energy and so speeds up metabolism. You should drink at least 3 cups of green tea each day .

Does food coloring in soda such as Moutain Dew and Sundrop as well as green cherries shrink the penis?
I have heard tales and rumors of green cherries and a certain food coloring in Mountain Dew and, 7up, Sun Drop and any other green drinks out there shrinking the size of the penis. I was just wondering if there was any truth to any of this.
Why, yes. Yes, it does. If you eat some red velvet cake, yours will fall off.
Tried green tea, not too fond of it, would it defeat the purpose of drinking green tea if i mixed in a regular?
tea bag?
Im trying to make my normal day to day meals and drinks healthier, and ive been told green tea is great. However, the only way it tastes good, is if i put it ALOT of sugar (i dont like honey) so, would it be ok if i put green tea in my cup along with a regular tea bag? would i still get the benefits of the green tea?
Green tea can getting used to but you really just need to drink it on it’s own or with a slice of lemon in hot water. Adding normal tea if you drink it black won’t do you any harm but I don’t think it will make it taste any better. If you add milk it will taste awful.
Milk and Spicy/Hot Food: Medical View?
I learned in pharmacology class that drinking milk to recover from the temporary effects of spicy food is actually not recommended. Physiologically, the body naturally secretes acid to balance alkaline intake.
So I can understand how dairy would not be a good idea due to the increase acid from the spicy food and compensation from the dairy.
I’ve searched online for tips on how to overcome extremely spicy food, particularly for hot wings, and all sites have people suggesting MILK.
Let me know what you guys think. Insight from anyone will be appreciated. Thanks!
Hmmm, I’ve never heard that "pharmacology" analysis, but I know for sure that milk and milk products DO cut the heat from spicy/hot foods, and they do it immediately. (I like a bit of sour cream or yogurt mixed into spicy foods if I don’t drink milk afterwards).
"Milk contains casein, a lipophilic (fat-loving) protein that surrounds and washes away the fatty capsaicin molecules (which cause the burn) in much the same way that soap surrounds grease and allows to be rinsed away)."
In the experiments I’ve seen and heard of, the main things that seem to help are:
…milk products: milk, yogurt, sour cream, cream, ice cream, creamy sauces, etc… (cold ones like cold milk even better)
…bread
…beer, etc. (alcohol and alcoholic beverages/ethanol are solvents for capsaicin so can help dissolve/wash it away, but may need a lot… cold ones even better)
…fatty, oily foods, cheese (oils are solvents for capsaicin)
…sugar directly on the tongue (…or only a distraction?)
(there’s loads of info on those things online and why they work –and why others won’t work)
HTH,
Diane B.
P.S. Maybe you should order a small side of ice cream with your hot wings! …and have dessert-with-appetizer.
