Alkaline Diet – Very confused? Are these foods Alkaline or not?
I want to try the alkaline diet but i am confused. Im not sure which of these guides to go on-

Where people get confused is the fact that a food may be acid in itself like say an orange but when it is eaten and metabolised it is alkaline forming. This is due to the alkaline minerals it contains.
The second listed site gives a more comprehensive list but the first one has a forum where you might get some answers if you get stuck or confused.
In the main all you really have to remember is that most fruit and vegetables are alkaline forming and animal proteins, most grains and nuts are acid forming.
By increasing fruit and vegetables in your diet you should become more alkaline.
You have to bear in mind that certain emotions like anger and stress can turn you acidic. Alkaline forming emotions are laughter and happiness.

In Nip/Tuck, what’s that green grass Christian Troy cuts and then drinks?
If youv’e seen enough Nip/Tuck episodes, you’ve seen that Christian always goes to the restroom and cuts off some grass of a box, gets the juice and drinks it. Is it green tea or something?
I think it’s Wheat Grass.

what’s the benefit of pH balance for the skin?
I heard if you wash your face with pH balance it helps the skin balance its natural colour?
yes it is right if you wash your face with normal soap it has alkaline in it so it puts your ph out of balance to keep skin looking good food like apples, tomatoes, blackberry’s or any citrus food are good as these contain alpha-hydroxy acids which are good in maintaining the correct ph balance 5.5
